Local Discounts During THE Domain Conference

If you are attending THE Domain Conference in Ft. Lauderdale later this month, there are several local establishments  offering discounts to conference attendees. In addition, the  Hyatt Pier 66   has a couple of freebies for people who will be attending the conference and staying at the hotel.

In an email sent yesterday by Barbara Neu, I learned the following businesses are offering discounted prices for the duration of the conference:

“Mariners – Serving a breakfast buffet or al-a-carte menu with 15% off food
Orchids Bar & Grille – Casual Florida cuisine with seafood dishes, salads, and sandwiches – 15% off food
Pelican Landing – beautiful views – seafood dishes, salads, sandwiches – 15% off food
The Lounge – lunch & dinner in the lobby bar – 15% off food
Famous Grille 66 – fine dining – seafood, steaks, pasta – Happy Hour from 5-7:00, closed Sunday
Spa 66 is offering a 20% discount for any appts scheduled ahead of the conference.”

In addition to these special prices, I understand the hotel is offering free in-room Internet access, and there will be no resort fee assessed to conference attendees. I hate being nickel and dimed, and I find it frustrating when I pay for a hotel on Hotels.com or otherwise in advance, and the hotel charges me $25+ per day. I’d rather it be assessed at the time of booking, but I suppose it’s a way for them to keep the perception that the hotel rate is lower than it really is.

THE Domain Conference will be held September 27-29, with pre-conference networking at the poolside cabanas. I will be arriving on Monday 9/28. Let me know if you would like to get together or say hello at the conference.
