Joyride.com Sold for $300,000 via Uniregistry

In its sales report for the past week, Uniregistry reported the $300,000 sale of Joyride.com. The domain name was acquired by a startup that is anticipating a Fall of 2019 launch. This was the largest sale of the week reported by Uniregistry.

The sale of Joyride.com will be one of the top publicly reported domain name sales of 2019. When Ron Jackson updates his year to date sale report, the sale of Joyride.com will tie the $300,000 sale of NCC.com as the 15th largest domain name sales of the year. It looks like it will be the largest public sale of the year for Uniregistry, surpassing the $250,000 sale of Cumberland.com.

Interestingly, Joyride.com had been offered for sale for $60,000 via Media Options back in 2013. I also looked through my email, and I see this domain name was offered in the Media Options newsletter for $29,000 in June of 2013. At the time of publication, I am not sure if the domain name sold at that time or between then and now. NameBio does not have any publicly reported sales of this domain name.

If I learn any more details about the sale of this domain name, I will share an update.
