Joe Uddeme Launches Name Experts, LLC

In a tweet this morning, Joe Uddeme announced the launch of Name Experts, LLC, “a boutique domain name brokerage firm that specializes in premium dotcom domain name inventory.” Joe was a longtime domain name broker at Domain Holdings, and it looks like he decided to start his own brokerage firm.

I’ve known Joe for several years, and although we completed just one deal (I bought a name from one of his clients), I’ve chatted with Joe about domain names many times. He has represented many domain names that I wanted to buy, although his client’s prices were beyond what I would pay. I subscribed to Joe’s newsletter via Domain Holdings, and I hope he opts to launch his own newsletter via Name Experts.

While updating the page of domain name brokers, I couldn’t help but notice all of the former Domain Holdings brokers and executives who have gone off to form their own firms – Alan Dunn, Tracy Fogarty, Giuseppe Graziano, and Ryan Colby.

According to the Name Experts about us page, Joe has “brokered over $40,000,000 in domain names.” It looks like he could be off to a running start, as his website shows that he is already representing some solid domain names – Brew.com, Important.com, Instruct.com, and Diagnose.com, among others. I wish him continued success with his new venture.
