Sedo’s monthly Great Domains auction concluded today, and I have published the results of the sale below. The auction netted close to $150,000 USD in sales, with 13 domain names selling today.
The largest sale in today’s auction was the three letter HSE.com domain name, which sold for $34,000 USD. UWK.com, PUU.com, UUL.com, and UEU.com all sold for 20,000 EUR, which is about $21,725 USD at today’s exchange rate. VKZ.com sold for just under $10,000 USD. The two four figure .info domain names that sold seem to have done pretty well at auction.

Keep in mind that because the auction ended today, these sales are not yet closed and completed. Sedo will generally report the closed sales to Ron Jackson once payment is made and the transfer is completed.

Sedo reports that events.info actually sold for $3650 USD not $3350.
I cut and pasted the information the company provided me yesterday. I am not sure why there is a discrepancy or where you saw the other sale price.

Apologies for the confusion on this. You are correct that events.info went for $3650. The bidding on that actually ran over the allotted auction period but I didn’t realize it when I initially reported the results. Jumped the gun a little – great catch on that!

Sales at SEDO look lame or week or pathetic to me. What happened? Sedo use to bring in the dough. What auction houses have taken their place?
