GoMommy? GoDaddy Celebrates Mother’s Day

GoDaddy is celebrating Mother’s Day today in the US with a temporary logo and branding change. In place of the standard GoDaddy logo on the company’s website and social media pages, GoDaddy created a special GoMommy logo.

Perhaps not surprisingly for trademark protection reasons, GoDaddy also owns GoMommy.com. If you visit GoMommy.com today, you can see how GoDaddy is creatively celebrating Moms with its GoMommy branding. In addition, visitors can create their own story to honor their own moms.

You may recall that GoDaddy did something similar on International Women’s Day with a temporary rebrand to GoWomen. I think the GoMommy branding is even more appropriate, and it is a fun way for GoDaddy to celebrate moms.

Happy Mother’s Day!

  1. You have to give the Godaddy marketing folks credit for this one. That is clever. The campaign can probably be replicated annually, celebrating MomPreneurs and moms who create websites for their kids rather than relying only or Facebook or what not to share family milestones.
