There are a number of domain-related websites I frequently visit, but I don’t visit every site on a daily basis because I don’t have the time. In thinking about it, there are only really just a handful of sites I visit just about every day of the week.
Here are the domain investing sites I visit every day:
What domain related websites do you visit every day?
TheDomains.com
DomainNameWire
DNJournal
Sedo
Namebee – several times per week
I should probably add TheDomains.com because I visit after Mike publishes most of his articles. He posts less regularly than Andrew, which is why I didn’t include him… same as DNJournal.
I hit Name.com about everyday just to poke around with some of the tools like the domain suggestion tool.
snapnames, com is good to collect dropping domains
IDNForums.com
domaininvesting.com
I think everyone in the industry visits those you listed because they’re the best and been around a while. I prefer dropday (I do like freshdrop though) because it gives every stat I need
Others I enjoy some being rather new
Sullys Blog
Fusible
MattCutts (for SEO)
of course Domaining.com to save time
RicksBlog (a little off the wall but still entertaining)
Just so nobody gets the wrong idea or feels slighted – I do read a lot of other blogs and websites. Many of them just don’t get updated every day or I don’t visit every day 🙂
Domaining.com, which usually leads to DomainInvesting.com, TheDomains.com, DomainNameWire.com, Fusible.com, MorganLinton.com, and BruceMarler.com (sites I only check when there’s a new article).
I use DomainTools.com daily for WHOIS lookups and WHOIS history. Not sure it qualifies as a domaining site, but I also use GAKT daily.
Other than that, the only site I check daily is Domain Boardroom. I check the other forums (NP and DNF) only once or twice a week now to check for sales, otherwise there’s too much noise and not enough to learn to bother spending much time there.
KeywordSpy.com and WaybackMachine.org are regular favs
@ Michael
I use GAKT every day, but since I check in with Adsense and Google Analytics, I left it off the list of domaining sites.
Well, maybe not everyday but at least once a week, depending on post frequency and use.
All the above and..
MorganLinton.com
DNN.com
NameBee.com
RicksBlog.com
FragerFactor.com
RickLatona.com
TiaWood.com
DotSauce.com
SevenMile.com now DomainNameSales.com
DomainInvesting.com <– definitely daily 😉
and others. 🙂
I check out daily or almost daily:
Domaining.com – to find blog posts that interest me, don’t know how I found them before this site!
DNF.com
Sedo
Namedrive
Godaddy
Netcheap
have to check out Domain Boardroom, haven’t heard of that before.
Come on Elliot…I thought you knew the first rule of Domain Boardroom…you do not talk about Domain Boardroom.
🙂
@ Alex
That ship sailed way back in October of 2007 🙂
https://www.domaininvesting.com/5-with-donna-mahony-domainboardroomcom-founder
WebProNews.com
InternetRetailer.com
WebmasterWorld.com
AdAge.com
These are a some in addition to many of the ones listed above I like to visit also.
They are not necessarily “domaining” but they are part of the puzzle that gives a clearer picture of other happenings that affect us.
BTW…..I’ve never heard of DomainBoardroom.com until now and I’ve been at this biz as long as almost anyone. Thanks for pointing it out. 🙂
Sites I go to everyday in connection with domaining…
