The BBC will be airing a documentary about Divyank Turakhia, the self-made billionaire who founded a number of companies with his brother Bhavin. Many domain investors know Div through his involvement with Directi and related domain industry companies like Skenzo, Radix, Big Rock, and quite a few others. Div and Bhavin really hit it big with Media.net. Ron Jackson profiled Div a few years ago, and you can read more about Div’s involvement in the domain industry on DNJournal.
Div announced the BBC World News documentary in a public Facebook post earlier today:
Here’s the excerpt from the BBC website describing the documentary:
“Is Divyank Turakhia the most successful technology billionaire you have never heard of? The entrepreneur behind three multi-million web companies shares his story of how he and his brother came from a normal apartment in Mumbai to create a global online empire by offering companies what they needed to get online before anyone else.”
There are several showtimes for this program listed, but I am sure the times will vary based on your timezone. Hopefully the BBC will upload the show to allow people to watch it at their convenience.
How come no comments on this story?
Is it because of Sunday or Is it because of information overload about Turakhia brothers?
Perhaps they are planning to enter politics in India because their publicity posts are everywhere, including LinkedIn…..:) j/k.
They deserve all the attention after working so hard.
