Daily Poll: Will Next Year be Better Than This Year?

The year is almost over. It’s almost always a bit sad starting over at $0 to start the year. Actually, I almost always start in the hole because of a few recurring charges that hit on the first of the month.

I think this year has been pretty solid for domain investors and their investments, although some areas struggled. Many economic prognosticators are be predicting tough times next year. Perhaps a recession is on the horizon. That could be problematic for domain investors, but who knows.

Do you think 2019 will be better than 2018? Vote in the poll below and feel free to share your thoughts about it in the comment section:

  1. With the current USD inflation, and fed rates going up I suspect a recession could be possible for 2019.
I do think 2019 will be better for us domain investors even if there’s a recession brewing…

Last Christmas everyone around me including kids were talking about buying Bitcoin. I remember going to the grocery store and people were talking about Bitcoins in the checkout lane.
Well I went a different route and saw opportunity to expand and acquire higher quality domains.
So if the recession is coming in 2019, while others will be contracting/selling/pulling out of the market, I will be spending the money and expanding 😉

  2. Of course, every year is a good year… if you take Domaining seriously , you won’t make any money but if you take it as a “BULLS” hobby, you will make money-no stress and it is all fun and games.

“If you ever want to see a bad example of how not to sell domains you need to go to Squarely.com I do a lot of talking about”

I bet whoever owns those domains is doing very well.
