Sunday Updates & Thoughts

2

I thought I would share some updates and thoughts over the weekend after a GREAT New England Patriots win today! Big game against Denver next weekend.

I’m excited for the TRAFFIC conference later this week, and I have been touching base with some friends and colleagues the last few days to set up some time to chat. If you’re headed to Miami for TRAFFIC, safe travels to you.

Here are some updates and thoughts today:

I’m in the middle of a daddy-daughter weekend, as my wife went out of town for a baby shower. I think we’ll do a little apple picking, apple pie making, and maybe spend some time outside depending on the weather. I hope you have as much fun as I have!

I want to share some thoughts and updates that I have been compiling from the past week. You are also welcome to share your thoughts, feedback, or anything related to domain investing:

I hope you’re having a nice weekend and enjoy the rest of your Sunday. Typically, the Summer is the slow season for my business, and the next couple of weeks will likely be the slowest of the year due to vacations and time off. As a result, this may be a good time to participate in auctions and make acquisitions.

One of the nice things about this business is I can work from anywhere as much or as little as I want. On the other hand, as my wife could tell you, I tend to work from everywhere all the time 🙂

Here are a few updates I want to share with you:

I am enjoying a nice weekend in New York City. I went to the Arsenal v. NY Red Bulls soccer game yesterday with my brother. It was the first professional game I’ve been to in about 10 years. Although it was clear the game was just an exhibition, I had a great time. My brother is a big Arsenal fan, and I’ve been following them for a couple of years.

It’s been difficult to get work done during the day while watching the World Cup during the last couple of weeks. Many of the games have been thrilling, and it’s been enjoyable to watch the US Men’s National Team play. I’m excited for their second round game against Belgium on Tuesday. Speaking of Belgium, I could really use a Westy 12 if someone wants to send a 6 pack to me!

I am still raising funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. With your help, I’ve raised a little over $1,500 towards my $5,000 goal, and there’s about one month left in my campaign. Can you help?

Here are some thoughts and updates:

If you’re a dad, today is probably a special day for you, as it is for me. I’ll be spending time with my wife and daughter, and hopefully I will be able to get a long bike ride in while my daughter is napping. I am participating in the 2014 Pan Mass Challenge bike ride, and I need to train! With your help, I have raised over $1,000 in  my Pan-Mass Challenging fundraising effort. My goal remains $5,000 and I could really use some help getting there! All funds raised benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a great organization helping people with cancer.

Here are some updates, bits of news, and some of my thoughts on the weekend. As always, your feedback is encouraged and appreciated.
