This morning, I read a Deadline.com article about Univision’s rebrand of its Univision Deportes network. The new brand name will be TUDN. Smartly, it looks like the company acquired the brand match TUDN.com domain name in advance of the acquisition. It does not look like the matching @tudn Twitter handle was acquired by the company though.
Sedo announced that it is removing the minimum fee on domain name sales transacted via its platform. Prior to the announcement, the domain sales platform had previously charged a minimum fee of either $60 (for the vast majority of extensions) or $200. The minimum sale prices were $90 and $230 respectively.
In place of the minimum fee, Sedo is now charging a straight up commission. Here’s what the company said on its website announcing the change:

I receive quite a few offers to buy this particular domain name, and most of them are silly. For instance, this morning I received a $10 offer to buy the domain name. I told the buyer I had previously turned down $100k for the name, and his reply was a simple “wow.”
I noticed something interesting over the weekend that I thought I would share with you. I typed in OutOfTheWorld.com to see if it was registered, and I was forwarded to a GoDaddy search results page. As is typical for a domain name listed for sale via Afternic with a buy it now price, the purchase option was what showed up after being forwarded:
According to a report on ESPN this afternoon, the Alliance of American Football (AAF) filed a petition for bankruptcy in Texas. The AAF was a professional football league in the US that played its games during the NFL’s off-season. Unfortunately for its players and fans, the AAF did not make it a full season before filing for bankruptcy.
A Chinese Agri-tech company called XAG announced that it acquired the XA.com domain name and has rebranded its website. From what I can tell, the company had previously used the ccTLD domain name, XAG.cn. The news was announced this morning in a tweet:
