Domain investors who use Efty for their domain for sale landing pages have the option to add a video to each landing page. Arnold mentioned this option and highlighted an Efty video landing page on Twitter yesterday afternoon:
I wasn’t aware of the possibility to embed a video to your @eftycom landing page until I saw this one at https://t.co/6mHDRn64KT. Interesting.

The landing page found on QIZ.com has a video message created by the domain broker. This domain name is being brokered by Lumis, and the video features a brief introduction from Lumis broker Hobi Michalec. I think this added bit of personalization can help establish a bit of rapport with prospective buyers before they reach out to make an offer or discuss the price.
I asked Efty Co-Founder Doron Vermaat how users can add videos to their Efty landing pages, and here’s what he told me:
“You can add HTML, such as an embedded video in the description field of the domain. Instead of a description it will then show the video.”
Users can create one video that they add to all of their Efty landing pages, or they can create individual videos for their domain names. They could also have videos for some domain names but not others. It’s really up to the individual user.
I am not sure what type of lift people see with videos vs. text (if any), but it could be worth testing. For those who are camera shy, it might be worth paying to create a professional video for landing pages.
If you have experience with videos on your landing pages, feel free to share what you have noticed.
