$7.77 for New .COM and .CO Domain Name Registrations at Name.com

I just got word that Name.com is offering a special price on .COM and .CO domain registrations. The company is charging just $7.77 per new registration from now until February 12, 2011.  I haven’t seen a better .CO price anywhere else.

Name.com also released a spoof Super Bowl commercial for your viewing enjoyment:

Not likely… I don’t do a lot of hand registering as is. If I were to buy, I would probably only be interested in high value keyword domain names which have either been registered, are scheduled for auction, or are being held back by the registry for a future auction.

  1. Great price! Even though GoDaddy is offering new registrations for $7.49 (with coupon code SUPERCO), Name.com is also selling free privacy for just $1.99, meaning that, if interested, you can have a .CO + privacy for less than $10 which is unbeatable.

  2. Godaddy .co sells Aus$7.38 in Australia, and it’s still running…

To get $7.38, you need to click on godaddy.co girl commercial banner and view the video, then the discount bonus pop out for Aus$7.38 to buy…

I bought a few good generic .co domains, but I had to spend times to check all the trademark status in US, Europe and Australia before buying any of those names…
