Squadhelp Email About Ultra Premium Inclusion

I started using Squadhelp to list domain names for sale at the end of April. As documented in a series of tweets on Twitter, I completed one domain name sale so far. I also had a second domain name on a 12 month lease to own payment plan, but the buyer canceled after paying two monthly installments. I currently have 116 domain names listed for sale on the platform.

A couple of days ago, I received an email from Squadhelp notifying me that one of the domain names I have listed on the platform was selected to be listed in its forthcoming “Ultra Premium Marketplace.”

Squadhelp is partnering with Hilco Digital Assets to operate the marketplace. Hilco invested $10 million in Squadhelp in March of this year. Although the high end domain sales marketplace hasn’t launched yet, there is a splash page describing its vision. According to Squadhelp CEO Darpan Munjal, the marketplace won’t be live for another week or two.

Here’s the email I received with my domain name redacted:

Ultra Premium Inclusion for [Redacted]

Hi Elliot,

We’ve selected [Redacted] for inclusion in our new Ultra Premium Marketplace.

The Ultra Premium Marketplace, which is launching very soon, will be home to some of the most valuable domains on the internet, and we think [Redacted] is a great fit!

Don’t worry, we’re doing more than just adding Ultra to your listings status 🙂

The Ultra Premium Marketplace has its own destination on Squadhelp, which we will strategically promote to prospective buyers of high-value domains to get [Redacted] in front of the right eyes. (Learn more about all the benefits of Ultra Premium here.)

Your domain will still be listed on Premium, but it will also be showcased on the more exclusive Ultra Premium Marketplace. So, there’s nothing to lose. No changes to commission — just more exposure and opportunity for [Redacted].

There’s nothing you need to do at the moment – we’re upgrading [Redacted] internally, and it will be included in the Ultra Premium as soon as it goes live. We’ll send a general announcement when it does.

Let us know if you have any questions.

  1. Congrats! We just started listing there also last month and 71 of our domains were flagged as eligible for Premium listing. Will they also be considered for Ultra Premium automatically or it there a process to follow?

    • That’s a better question for Darpan Munjal to answer. He is pretty active on Twitter, so that might be a good place to start.
