Estibot launched SoldNames.com, a new platform that tracks and reports domain name sales and live auctions. SoldNames.com is free to use, and visitors do not need to create an account or log in to access its data and track live domain name auctions. The platform reportedly has hundreds of thousands of domain name sales at the $250 price point and above.
Estibot shared the launch news on its blog, along with more information about SoldNames.com and the tools available on the platform. I also understand there is an API available for people who want to use it for larger searches or to integrate its results within other platforms.
Although I don’t use Estibot regularly, I use several of the company’s other platforms on a daily basis. I am a regular user of DomainLeads.com, DomainIQ, and Dropping.pro. Each of these tools serve a different purpose for me as I find and evaluate domain names. I pay for accounts on DomainIQ and Dropping.pro, while DomainLeads.com is still free to use without a login required.
I can see SoldNames.com serving a different niche as people look for one place to research historical domain name sales, compare similar domain names, and get a sense of market values as they evaluate domain names in auction. It looks like the platform lists auctions at GoDaddy, NameJet, DropCatch, and Namecheap.
