2021 Pan-Mass Challenge

The largest annual fundraising event for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston is the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). During the first weekend of August, I will be riding in the PMC for the eighth consecutive year. With the support of friends, colleagues, and family, we have raised nearly $80,000 for Dana-Farber. For three years (and hopefully in the future), I rode the PMC with John Berryhill, and together, we have raised more than $88,000 for Dana-Farber.

The most important aspect of the Pan-Mass Challenge is fundraising for Dana-Farber. The PMC typically raises 57% of the annual budget for Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund. Since the PMC was founded, it has raised $767 million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

I know several people, including friends, family, and colleagues, who have bravely fought cancer. Dana-Farber is one of the leading cancer fighting and cancer research organizations in the world.

2020 Pan-Mass Challenge

logoOnce again this year, John Berryhill and I are registered to ride in the 2020 Pan-Mass Challenge to raise money and awareness for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. Dana-Farber is one of the leading cancer organizations in the world, and we are happy to support their mission of providing exceptional cancer treatment and completing advanced cancer research. Since the start of the Pan-Mass Challenge ride in 1980, the PMC has raised $717 million in funding for Dana-Farber and its Jimmy Fund.

Obviously, the circumstances of the ride are tentative due to the uncertainty of whether it will be possible this year to assemble the rolling army of nearly 7,000 PMC riders expected.

2019 Pan-Mass Challenge Supporters

logoLater this Summer, I will be riding in the 2019 Pan-Mass Challenge to raise money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston. DFCI is one of the leading cancer organizations in the world – both in terms of cancer treatment and cancer research, and my family proudly supports it. Since the ride started, the PMC has raised over $660 Million for Dana-Farber!

This will be my sixth year riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge. With the help of supporters and friends like you, we raised over $50,000 for Dana-Farber and its Jimmy Fund in the first five years of riding in the PMC. My fundraising goal for 2019 is $12,500.

2018 Pan-Mass Challenge Fundraiser

logoI will be riding in the 2018 Pan-Mass Challenge to raise money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston. DFCI is one of the leading cancer organizations in the world – both in terms of cancer treatment and cancer research. Last year’s Pan-Mass Challenge raised $51 million for Dana-Farber!

For the third year in a row (and my fifth PMC ride), I will be riding the 2-day, 162 mile route from Wellesley, Massachusetts to Provincetown, Massachusetts. I set a fundraising goal of $12,000.  Last year, with the help of friends and family, we raised over $11,000. In the first four years of riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge, we have raised over $35,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I couldn’t do this without your support – Thank You!

If you are able, I would greatly appreciate it if you could support my ride by donating to Dana-Farber via my PMC fundraiser. You can donate via my fundraising page on PMC.org.

Listed below, are this year’s generous domain industry donors (or commitments to donate) so far. I would love to add you to this list, regardless of how much you are able to contribute. I will keep a running tally of domain industry donors as a way to say thank you!

If you are interested in donating at the $500+ level, get in touch so I can chat with you about sponsoring my jersey this year. There are 14 spots available (4 remain) so please connect with me first to confirm availability. All spots have been claimed. Here’s last year’s jersey for a reference point (although John is not riding with me this year). Update: Here is this year’s jersey design!

2017 Pan-Mass Challenge Jerseys

I am happy to share the final design for the cycling jerseys that John Berryhill and I will wear during the 2017 Pan-Mass Challenge:

Thanks to the amazing support of our domain industry sponsors listed below, this custom jersey was able to raise $8,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston! Wow! John and I will be wearing these jerseys during our final few tune up training rides during the last two weeks of July. We will then proudly wear the jerseys on the second day of the PMC as we bike from Bourne to Provincetown. As John mentioned, it is very likely that thousands of PMC cyclists (and cars) will pass us on our ride. We will also see many people during the rest stops.

Neither John nor I have achieved our individual fundraising goals yet. Your support would be greatly appreciated as we help Dana-Farber and The Jimmy Fund carry out its cancer research and treatment mission. Here’s my fundraising page and here is John’s fundraising page. We have received quite a bit of support from within the domain industry, and we appreciate it. Thanks so much for the support you have given us!
