Rick Schwartz to Discuss STUD.com on Clubhouse

In late June, Rick Schwartz announced his plans to open a domain name brokerage. At that time, I speculated that he might opt to brand the business as Game Changing Domains and use the GameChangingDomains.com domain name he recently hand registered. It looks like I was wrong.

After reading additional commentary from Rick, it appears that he is moving forward with his plans using a domain name he has owned for many years – STUD.com.

Rick has teased a bit about the unique brand name over the past few days. He also announced that he will be talking about the launch of the website later today on Clubhouse with Krista Gable:

If you’re on Clubhouse and want to listen to Rick speak about this new domain broker venture, the Clubhouse room opens at 1pm (Eastern), and the link can be found here. It is unclear when STUD.com will open or how Rick will differentiate the business from other domain brokers and domain sales platforms.

  1. i believe Stud.com will work well…
SAW.com has worked for a broker team
Short name, and Rick doesn’t need to do any SEO…his expertise and record suffice – and I don’t believe he’s going to depend on folks searching for a domain broker

    My questions:

Will Rick broker only 7 figure domains?
Any 6 or even 5 figure domains?
    Endusers as targets?
    .COM only?
Or maybe even super premium key word (one word) domains in .io, .org, .de, .ai?
