Moniker publicly released the TRAFFIC West live auction domain list this morning. They received over 120,000 submissions for next week’s auction, and after reviewing the names, I think this auction will set a record for highest grossing domain auction – even though it is missing the great multi-million dollar domain name that is still reasonably priced. There are some strong domain names listed, with many at reserves I would consider reasonable.
The full live auction list can be seen on Moniker’s website, but a few of my favorite names considering the reserves are below. I didn’t do any research on these names, but I’ve said quite a bit and Rick Latona said yesterday, the names below are based on my gut feel:
Dance.com $750,001 – $1MM
OklahomaRealEstate.com $10,001 – $25,000
DiscountTravel.com/.mobi $500,001 – $750,000
DrugCard.com/.net/.org $10,001 – $25,000
SanJuan.com $250,001 – $500,000
PalmReader.com $5,001 – $10,000
CollectorPlates.com $10,001 – $25,000
ImmigrationService.com $25,001 – $50,000
BusinessConsultants.com $10,001 – $25,000
Bachelor.com/.net/.org $100,001 – $250,000
Meds.com $250,001 – $500,000
Indian.com $250,001 – $500,000
Markets.com $100,001 – $250,000
BusinessSupplies.com $25,001 – $50,000
Psychiatrists.com $50,001 – $100,000
HardwareStores.com $25,001 – $50,000
iam.com $1 – $5,000
The big problem with jewellers.com imo is that it is the less common spelling (with jewelers.com spelled 3 times more often). I’d hate to build a business and always have to explain “with two L’s”.
I love Iam.com as well and psychiatrists.com as well
If I had the money SanJuan.com is the one
Agree with Gordon. If you have to help spell a domain you might as well save your money. I also agree that SanJuan.com is the one I would go after. And it will be worth triple what it is now when Puerto Rico becomes a state.
Elliot, your link to Moniker has a typo in it. FYI.
