.ME Contest: Win a Trip to SXSW

ME Loyalty Program.ME domain names have become popular in the startup community. To help build awareness and brand loyalty, the .ME Registry launched the .ME Loyalty Program, and through this program, the Registry is holding a contest where the winner will get a free trip to South by Southwest SXSW Interactive Festival from March 7 – March 11, 2014.

In case you are interested in participating, I thought I’d share more information about the contest and how to enter for a chance to win.

People can enter the contest by signing up for the .ME Loyalty Program. An entry into the contest is automatically generated by registering. Each participant in the contest is able to sign up just once, and everybody that is able to accrue points in the loyalty program could be chosen.

The winner of the contest will get some pretty cool prizes, with an approximate value of $2,941.25. The winner is responsible for transportation to and from the event. I am told that the prize is not transferrable, so only the winner can get the trip to SXSW.

  • Entry badge for the 21st annual SXSW Interactive Festival from March 7 – March 11, 2014.
  • Accommodation in Austin, TX during the entire Interactive period (March 7 – March 11, 2014).
  • $500 AMEX gift card for travel and entertainment.
  • One-on-one meeting with the .ME Registry representatives over coffee.
  • .ME package full of cool stuff.

The contest began a couple of weeks ago, which is how I learned about the contest on Twitter. The contest will end on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 8:59 pm.

If you have any questions about the contest, or if you want to learn more about the contest, see the .ME website for full details as well as the rules and regulations. Earning points is a bit confusing to me, but I am sure people who are members of the .ME Loyalty Program will understand more easily. Good luck to those who participate!
