Jeff Reynolds Running the 2013 Long Island Marathon to Support LICADD

Jeff Reynolds is running in the 2013 Long Island Marathon to support the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, an organization that is important to him. He has set a fundraising goal of $2,000 to assist LICADD, and perhaps we can give him a bit of a boost.

If you don’t know Jeff, I encourage you to read more about him in the interview I did several years ago. Since that time, he has grown his business and made a number of key domain acquisitions. Jeff has attended domain conferences before, and he’s also attended New York area domain meetups.

Here’s what Jeff had to say about why he is running to raise funds for LICADD:

“I’m running in honor of all the young people in our community who have struggled through their addiction and are now enjoying the miracle of recovery.

I’m running in memory of all those who have lost their lives to this terrible disease, including my mom.

And I’m running for those who are still struggling because each new day offers new hope and opportunities for change.

I’m running in honor of LICADD’s 57+ years of service to Long Island and all those who make our work possible.

I’m running because substance abuse prevention works and I want our kids – my kids – to grow up in a world that is safer, kinder and healthier.”

If you can afford to make a contribution to help Jeff reach his goal, I am sure he would appreciate it and you know it’s going to an organization that helps people overcome their substance abuse challenges. No matter what you are able to give, it will be appreciated.

I wish Jeff all the best in completing the marathon and raising funds for LICADD.

If you are raising funds for a great non-profit organization, let me know about it. The domain investor community may be small, but we support others who are doing good things on behalf of others.
