ICANN71 Virtual Policy Forum Has Begun

The virtually-conducted ICANN71 meeting began today and runs from June 14 – 17. The policy forum might not be of particular interest to the majority of domain investors, but it is important to remain aware of ICANN governance. Participating in – or following along with ICANN meetings is a good way to keep apprised of ICANN happenings.

The ICANN71 agenda has been posted, and the panels have already started. The forum is being run during regular business hours in The Hague, Netherlands (CEST / UTC+2, Amsterdam/Paris) timezone. ICANN71 was originally scheduled to be held in-person in The Hague.

ICANN71 is free to attend, but ICANN requires that people register if they wish to participate via Zoom. This is typically a quick process and requires a limited amount of information. ICANN will live stream its plenary sessions on the organization’s YouTube channel, and that does not require registration.
