I know it’s fairly late to let you know about this, but Afilias will be hosting a free one hour webinar at 10am Eastern today to discuss a variety of topics related to launching a new gTLD. Although the application window for this round has been closed for quite some time, there will likely be future application rounds for people who want to launch a .brand extension or other new extension.
In this webinar that will begin shortly, Roland LaPlante, SVP and CMO of Afilias will discuss important issues related to applying for and launching a new domain extension. LaPlante will discuss the company’s learnings based on their launch of the .info extension and other new gTLD launches since then.
