The New York Post published a real estate article that caught my attention. The article discussed an upcoming online auction of 130 acres of undeveloped land in Malibu, California. The land is owned by none other than domain industry veteran, Frank Schilling.
According to the article, the 130 acres of land is divided amongst three parcels. The buyer would be able to build one large home on the land or subdivide for multiple single family homes. It looks like an enviable location for someone looking for a large lot of developable land on the California coast.
Interestingly, the land sale will be conducted via auction online, hosted by Concierge Auctions. It looks like bidding will close on April 11, 2024 at 5pm. You can see the full listing and bidding information on the Concierge Auctions website.
Now that’s a view!
Good time to sell before the earthquake flood or whatever comes
Mother nature is not kind to California
Mother Nature may also hit any town, including yours.
Oddly, the people whose business it is to calculate risk, and whose profit and competitive position depend on being correct about those calculations – i.e. insurance companies – seem to believe that some places are riskier than others.
