Falcons Acquires Falcons.com via Saw.com

Falcons.com is an exceptional one word .com domain name that has long been owned by Future Media Architects (FMA). Like other domain names owned by FMA, Falcons.com has been for sale via Saw.com. In a post on X this afternoon, the brokerage announced that Falcons.com was sold for $400,000:

When I saw the post announcing the sale, my first thought was that it certainly took the Atlanta Falcons long enough to spend $400k to secure its brand match domain name. $400k seems like a pretty reasonable price for a domain name like Falcons.com, and I think it would have been a drop in the bucket for an NFL team to acquire. After visiting Falcons.com, I quickly realized it wasn’t the Atlanta Falcons that made the upgrade.

Falcons.com was acquired by a UAE-based luxury auction and sales platform called Falcons. The business has already been launched, and it specializes in luxury goods and experiences. In fact, the homepage is promoting its inaugural auction on September 28th in Dubai.

You can get a better understanding of what the brand has planned by watching this video the company created:

Securing Falcons.com was wise for this platform, considering the market in which they have entered.

Once DNJournal and Namebio index the sale of Falcons.com, it will rank in the top 10 publicly reported domain name sales of the year (to date). I have added the $400,000 sale of Falcons.com to the list of recent one word .com domain name sales I maintain on Embrace.com.

  1. out here in denver, the walmart broncos apparantly have no interest in Broncos.com unless they have a stupic price on it. The Denver Broncos should certgainly do a comparable to Falcons.com.

It seems like a lower price to me
