I had the chance to visit the .CO Registry offices in Miami this afternoon, although I didn’t get a chance to take photos for your viewing pleasure. The company has a great office space in downtown Miami, and it was good to take some time to catch up with the .CO Registry team.
From what it sounds like, the team is happy with their year one renewal rates, and they are gearing up for a big 2012. The team is also excited about the new .CO-focused Super Bowl commercial that was filmed a couple of weeks ago in Godaddy’s production studios, and it sounds like it was a fun commercial to watch behind the scenes.
If you’re in Miami, you should check out their offices (call ahead of course). It was nice to spend some time with Lori Anne Wardi, Juan Diego Calle, Nicolai Bezsonoff, and Juan Palacio.
It was also great to finally meet Robert Cline, whose corner office has the best views of Biscayne Bay…
just kidding 🙂
Kewl, Elliot!
You actually met with Lori? I hope you came away with an autograph, a hug, and a bag full of premium .COs.
Elliot, I’m personally inviting you to visit my new beta site at AvoidHassle.com, register, ask questions, or help answer some. Thanks in advance!

I got a good laugh out of that. FUNNY!
came to site, saying, oh nice another
article on
.Co
ha, that’s great. .Co marketing machine in action
what’s new, I thought, then as I was leaving the site
I caught out of the corner of my right eye, my own name
lurking. WTF I said to myself, what is this.
I nearly fell out of my chair.
uhha, what can I say. I can only extol the great future that .Co has.
Oh, Just remember you are required to pay me a licensing fee or royalty for using my name or having a laugh at my expense. Thanks. pay via Paypal: host@epier.com min. $5
Do all those people really not see that it is all over, or is this one of those Muhammed Saeed al Sahaf moments?
“Just remember you are required to pay me a licensing fee or royalty for using my name”
@ “Robert Cline”
If only that was your real name…
“Do all those people really not see that it is all over”
What’s over, and how do you define that it’s over? The Registry is spending millions on a Super Bowl commercial (not including the production costs). I can’t imagine they would be willing to make that type of expenditure for a dead business.

It is all over for .co. Most domainers know it is the new .mobi and big business knows it doesn’t work.
@Snoopy
I think you are incorrect. Is .mobi doing a superbowl ad, do you see them advertised anywhere.
.Co is everywhere. On this page – banner at top and on just about every other site they also have banners.
just simply type
site:.co
that number keeps going up everyday. now at
407,000,000 .co sites
also, check this out, a full fledge business school’s home site is at the .Co address. The Carleton University Sprott School of Business. Check it out:

“From what it sounds like, the team is happy with their year one renewal rates, …”
… then again, does anyone believe they’d publicly admit that they WEREN’T happy with their year one renewal rates?
Hint: Did .mobi ever publicly admit such?
I agree its over. have you seen last .co sedo auction result?. With every auction people pay less.
