Sedo: 4L.com Auction Postponed One Week

Sedo had been expected to begin a week long four letter .com auction today, which would conclude on November 7th. I was informed by a representative from Sedo that due to some website updates, the auction has been postponed one week.

Here’s what I was told about why the 4L .com auction was postponed for a week:

Sedo Call for Submissions: iGaming Auction

Sedo put out a call for domain name submissions for its upcoming iGaming Auction. The auction and marketplace platform is seeking gambling and gaming related domain name submissions for the auction that will be held in November.

Here’s what I was told about the upcoming auction:

October 2019 GreatDomains Results

The GreatDomains auction for the month of October concluded this afternoon. In total, 25 domain names were sold in the auction for a total of nearly $100,000 USD in sales. The three largest sales in the auction were three letter .com domain names. OLI.com sold for $50,000 and represented the largest sale of the auction.

Sedo Automated Follow-Up Email Closes the Deal

In 2013, I made an offer to buy Pulmonology.com via Sedo. Unfortunately, my offer was below the registrant’s expectations, and we were unable to reach a deal. In May of 2016, I received a follow up email from Sedo to let me know the registrant added a BIN price, and in September of 2016, another follow-up email informed me the seller decreased the price. I was not interested.

On Sunday, I received another follow up email from Sedo about the domain name:

According to a tweet this morning from Sedo domain name broker Albert Schimmel, the Glance.com domain name was sold via Sedo for $160,000:

The announcement I received included information about what is included in the 12 landing page options:
