Broncos.com Domain Name For Sale

With the Super Bowl right around the corner, Domain Holdings just announced that it is now the domain broker of record for Broncos.com. If the Broncos.com domain name sounds familiar to you, it is probably because Broncos.com was up for auction at the TRAFFIC conference, and it did not meet the reserve price what was, “less than half of what Cowboys.com sold for a few years back.

The email from Domain Holdings did not mention the asking price of this domain name, but I assume it’s listed in the low 6 figure range. It appears that the Broncos.com is privately registered, and it currently forwards to the Denver Broncos website via what appears to be some sort of affiliate link. At some point in time, according to Screenshots.com, the domain name was used for a horse website.

Several years ago, I did some research to see what professional sports teams owned their team name .com domain name and what teams didn’t. Surprisingly, at that time, only 53% of the NFL teams owned their exact match team .com domain name. Since that time, it appears that only the Cleveland Browns were able to get Browns.com, so the percentage now stands at around 56%.

If you are interested in buying the Broncos.com domain name, contact Domain Holdings’ broker Joe Uddeme, the lead broker on this domain name asset.  Personally, I think the Denver Broncos should probably do what it takes to acquire this asset, but what do I know.

  1. The Denver Broncos are more interested in Omaha.com…. Seattle was smart enough to get Seahawks.com….lol…Omaha, Omaha, Omaha!!!..Sorry, it’s almost game time and I can’t help myself after all the coffee….

    • Funny- Nobody gives a shit!! Put them for sale and quit spamming the comments with your shitty domains. I have shitty names too but you don’t see me blow flying my crap all over the place.

    • Yeah Garry, the turd-packed gems of SportMedical.com & ReserveMarines.com are so much better than my domains. Oh, that’s right, you let Reservemarines.com drop.

Do you only hand-register domains? After your trailer-lot rental, not enough money left over to buy on NameJet?

      Stupid redneck.

    • I told you I had some shitty names. Here’s something that’s not so shitty though.
I sold sportmedical.com last year for $3,000. I bought it at Namejet for $79 so suck it!!

By the way, my problem wasn’t with your names, it was the way you had to market them on the comments section.

    • Hey Player, I wasn’t spamming – I have two Omaha domains and the dude up top mentioned Omaha; I never even said they were for sale.

Also, if you sold sportmedical.com for $3,000, why is your name listed on Whois? Did you sell it to yourself?

Maybe you should just STFU; you’re looking like a complete ass here…and a liar.

    • Well I’ll be damned you’re right about the Whois info but I did sell it last year to some guy in Sweden.

No matter if you’re selling or not, you’re still spamming the comments with your shitty names.

  2. As you reported in May of 2011, Browns.com was taken in a udrp
As a long suffering Browns fan I can tell you it has not helped any.
The current owner and GM, could be the worst we have ever had.
Only a few more months until they completely blow the draft.
Such is life in the factory of sadness.

  3. Remember OJ Simpson riding in that white Ford Bronco SUV while being chased by police for a long time, and most of it being filmed on international TV … this was deemed by many to be the most famous (at least the most viewed) police chase ever … and of course Ford discontinued manufacturing Broncos a long ways back

    Go Broncos !

  4. Browns.com lost in 2011, not sure how I missed that one. What I am sure of is now I am glad I missed it altogether 6-7 years earlier.

  5. I don’t think the Bronco’s organization really needs Broncos.com accept perhaps for a re-direct to denverbroncos.com, and even that doesn’t seem important for a a NFL team that has plenty of notoriety already as the “Denver Broncos”

If Pat Bowlen thought that owning this name would be in the organizations best interest, he would have bought it a long time ago, this goes to Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys as well, Both of these domains will remain for sale for a very long time until the sellers realize that what they have is not a Gold mine after all.

Looking forward to the next blog when the seller changes brokers yet again.
