Namecheap CEO Richard Kirkendall has shared many .AI domain name sales over the last year or so. NameBio lists more than 1,000 .AI domain name sales at Namecheap in its database.
This afternoon, Richard shared a handful of high value .AI domain name sales. He also shared some pretty big news about .AI expiry auctions going forward. Expired .ai domain names will now be auctioned exclusively at Namecheap. In addition, the auctions will be conducted daily rather than once a month as they had been running previously.
Some January .ai sales below. Also we are announcing that all expired .ai domains(entire zone) will now be auctioned at Namecheap auctions going forward. They will be auctioned daily rather than on a monthly basis.
68 .ai $8000
678 .ai $8000
78 .ai $8000
98 .ai $8000…— Richard Kirkendall (@NamecheapCEO) February 4, 2025
I recently bought two .AI domain names at auction at Namecheap, and I like its auction platform.
As you may know, the .AI ccTLD registry is now being managed by Identity Digital on behalf of the government of Anguilla. I reached out to a representative from Identity Digital to ask about this change, and I will share an update if I am given one.
Hello Elliot,
Just to let you know, your “A Good Afternic Broker Negotiation” shows “Error 404”
Thanks. I accidentally hit publish instead of scheduling tomorrow. It will go live tomorrow morning.
Since when do domains expire (AI) when they are selling like hotcakes in all marketplaces?
