Reza Sardeha founded Dan.com before selling the company to GoDaddy for more than $71 million before the company was integrated and retired. Instead of taking the money and retiring, Reza launched a new home sales platform called Anyone. The popular real estate publication Inman published an article about the launch yesterday.
As you may have guessed, Reza launched Anyone on the brand matching Anyone.com domain name. Yesterday afternoon on X, Reza revealed the price his company paid to acquire Anyone.com – $400,000 USD:
Practice what you preach right? We’re building a household brand and for us this is the absolute best brand.

When I asked Reza about the acquisition, he told me the domain name was acquired in 2023. In addition, Reza told me it was acquired with the help of Andrew Rosener and Media Options. Reza told me he asked Andrew to find him a domain name for this new brand, and Andrew did the legwork to identify a domain name, negotiate a deal, and close the transaction.
In looking at NameBio and DNJournal, this $400,000 domain name sale will tie for the 11th largest publicly reported domain name sale of 2023. I have also added it to the list of recent one word .com domain name sales I maintain on Embrace.com.
If Anyone has the same adoption across the real estate business as Dan.com had with domain names, Reza will have another major winner on his hands. It looks promising.
