As always, this is going to be an exciting auction to watch, as there are several domain names I could see selling for 6 figures. For instance, Empire.com would seem like the perfect name for insurance giant Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

What are your favorite domain names in the live auction?

  1. Servers.com sounds awesome. Companies that have dedicated servers or cloud solutions in their offer lies tremendeous opportunity!

Reconnect is very catchy and easy to remember. There are a lot of new social networks, and they are not easy to remember next to Facebook. But, if you want to RECONNECT with some old friends that migrated or you lost track with them since school, reconnect.com is the right choice 🙂

Empire.com would be much better suit for empireavenue.com

I love bunch of others too…

  2. From a bidding perspective I’m personally favoring rentaltrucks. com. It looks to be on the money and great on ROI (from experience in the affiliate industrials niche). All round plenty of eye candy and wouldn’t look great as one’s personal domain portfolio! 🙂

  3. My choices would be QR.com and security. Security is high priced for a domainer and low priced for an end user.

Why QR.COM? My recent posts give enough reasons

  4. Hi Elliot,
I’m going to agree with jayjay that RentalTrucks.com is a steal at that price and would be a MONSTER lead gen site.
I like Waspy.com in the extended auction as a sweeeet 5L and QR.com is the biggest name on the list for the live auction in my opinion,

    All the best,
    MH

  5. Empire has many more potential buyers

The HUGE carpet company – empiretoday.com
The Kosher food company – empirekosher.com
The Empire State Building – Now using esbnyc.com
New York State – AKA The Empire State – now using ny.gov

You wonder if the auction promoters or current owner contacted these potential buyers.

  6. @ WeBuyThe.com

I agree about potential buyers. The insurance company was the first off the top of my head. I don’t think the state of NY would be wise spending money for Empire.com. New York is not the Empire, it’s the Empire State… The Yankees are called the “Evil Empire” by Red Sox fans, although they tend to embrace that moniker 🙂

I would hope and assume the brokers are contacting these companies.
