Where to Sell .XXX Domain Names

Every time a new domain extension becomes available for the general public to purchase, domain investors always want to know where they can sell the domain names they just purchased. This morning, someone asked “Where/how can i sell or auction a .xxx domain that i don’t want?”

Here are a few suggestions:

Sedo.com   – There’s an adult section called “XXX – Adult,” and I am pretty sure they will permit .XXX domain names to be listed in that section.  I am awaiting confirmation.

Afternic – Although .XXX is currently not included in the drop down menu of extensions, I would imagine Afternic will permit .XXX domain sales, since there are other adult related domain names on the site. I am awaiting confirmation, since they currently do not permit .XXX listings.

DN Forum – There is a section on DNF for adult domain sales, and there may be a separate .XXX section opening up. Perhaps Adam Dicker will open DNForum.XXX 🙂

NamePros – There is an adult sales forum and there’s also a .XXX domain discussion forum on NP.

Domain Brokers – My bet is that a number of private brokers like Andrew Rosener, Toby Clements, Justin Godfrey, and Rob Sequin will allow premium .XXX domain names to be included in their newsletters and via their brokerage.

Adult Webmaster Forums – I know many adult webmasters are not in favor of .XXX domain names. However, the sale of .XXX domain names may be permitted on an adult forum.

    Oh, and Sedo isn’t accepting .xxx’s as of about 5 minutes ago…

  6. Also adult domain prices dipped after about 2007, there are tens of thousands of .com names on sedo for sale without offers, decent ones as well. The big guys took most of the category killer .xxx names, based on their generic .com traffic stats, rest are reserved for auction by the registar themselves. At $100 per pop domainers really can’t afford to speculate on these.

  13. I only bought one .xxx domain and thats all I need. They may have held on to alot of good domains but they let santa go. I am the proud owner of santa.xxx 🙂 LOL

  16. I have FXXX.ME – ok, it’s not with the .xxx suffix but it’s got ‘XXX’ in it and is intended as an adult name…I’d be interested in selling it – anyone care to speculate what it might be worth?

    honestly those are probably one of the two worst names for a website i have ever seen. you might as well just list it on ebay with a starting bid of .99 cents and hope someone buys it, because ill tell you right now, you have absolutely no shot of selling those domains anywhere else unfortunately. good luck though

    I’ve got several EMD .xxx that fr the right price I am willing to part with.
    Also have one .tv that is an EMD as well which will make a huge killing for anyone who picks it up.

  81. I’ve got the best one hands down, I couldn’t believe it was for sale still when I searched it. I want to sell it because it takes too much time and money to run your own site and sell videos unless you have millions of dollars, literally. I’ve already researched and tried.
