A UDRP was filed against the 4 letter RFPG.com domain name at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). According to NameBio, RFPG.com was sold via GoDaddy for $585 on July 23rd of this year – less than one month ago. I believe this domain name was sold in an expiry auction at GoDaddy Auctions.

The complainant in this UDRP is a company called Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC. A look at DomainTools screenshot history and Archive.org shows the domain name was previously used by this company.
In looking at the Whois history, the domain name was previously registered to a company called Rapid Fire Protection, Inc. The Whois record went private in late 2022 or early 2023. This company was acquired by Pye-Barker Fire, according to a 2021 article on the company’s website.
I am not sure who bought the domain name at auction as it is registered under Whois privacy, but the landing page indicates it is listed for sale via GoDaddy/Afternic. Just about all 4 letter .com domain names like this have value due to the potential to be used as a short, memorable brand / acronym by numerous companies. Based on the landing page, I presume the registrant acquired the domain name as an investment, which is a completely legitimate purpose.
I spend quite a bit of time and money buying expiry domain names at auction, so this is a UDRP proceeding I will monitor.

no TM SM registrations on the USPTO.
looks to be a house hold term in the fire safety business.
EGo— could have just bought the domain instead of filing lawsuits!!
