Barack is secretly a domainer, friends with Kevin Ham, Rick Schwartz and the other big guys. They are plotting to take over the domain industry. Of course I said that in good fun. Barack seems to be a very intelligent person, I am excited to see what Change.gov he can do 🙂
The name of this domain, change.gov, appears to be a violation of the Domain Naming Conventions Summary located at dotgov.gov/dnc.aspx. The domain does not appear to meet the criteria outlined on that page.
I believe the name was granted without the proper review, due to the current political climate and may in fact have been a political favor which is a clear violation of federal law.
What’s anyone going to do about it? Probably nothing.
I thought this was cool, too. Unfortunately, many are going to Change.com instead.

He could have got it better. Some shameless self-promotion even more relevant at the end of the election when Palin spurred discussions about the “real” america and then the acceptance speech about red states and blue states… there is America.com and that’s where the country should all be online, interacting with its leader, building it’s future.
Anyhow, I went to this page and applied for a job as an seo headline maverick:
