There are a number of domain investor groups that get together throughout the year. I know of groups in south Florida and Los Angeles who hold casual meetups to talk about domain names from time to time. When I lived in New York, I hosted a few small meetups, and it helped me meet quite a few people I stay in touch with to this day.
Bill Sweetman from Name Ninja will be holding a domain investor event at the end of the month. The Ottawa Domainer Meetup, as it will be officially known, will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 4-8 PM in downtown Ottawa, Canada.
This will be a free and casual networking event over drinks and finger food for domain investors in the Ottawa region. One or two sponsors will be covering the tab for the event. It will be a good opportunity for people in the Ottawa area to connect with other domain investors to chat about domain names and domain investing. Bill told me he already knows of a few investors who will be making the trip from Waterloo and Montreal for the event.

Bill will share the location to confirmed attendees. I understand it will be held in a private space at a downtown Ottawa restaurant.
