I am very pleased to announce that the National Association of School Nurses has acquired SchoolNurses.org, a domain name that I owned for about two years. The organization currently uses the NASN.org domain name for its website.
Although the purchase price for the domain name is not being disclosed, the National Association of School Nurses did make a significant contribution to the Ronald McDonald House, helping my wife and me reach our fundraising goal.
I am happy that this domain name is going to be used by the NASN, and I wish them all the best with it!
Great name..congrats!
Nice. Congrats! Would NASN be interested in buying NurseShop.com 🙂
By the way i am just watching your video interview at domainsherpa. Cool, what about video blogging?
@ Linda
I hate watching myself on video…. I tried it once and it was a pain in the neck to do… I think I’m too much of a perfectionist to do a video post.
Very nice name. Congratulations!
I just closed a .org sale with a major public university. It was my 2nd highest sale of the year thus far, & it was hand-regged this January from a drop list. It is the perfect name for their purpose, though.
@ Josh
Which dept at the university did you connect with to bring the deal to fruition?
@Jim
A Ph.D from the school’s “Center of Public Affairs” contacted me through the site’s WhyPark contact form. I think the name is going to be used for a think-tank-like group.
The buyer had no experience with domains, and I doubt he would have been able to contact me if I didn’t have a form on the page.
It was my first sale to a public institution. Considering all of the bureaucratic red tape involved, it was a fairly easy sale.
