Karen Bernstein Appointed as UDRP Panelist

Karen Bernstein is an Intellectual Property lawyer who has considerable domain industry expertise. Karen has been involved in the domain space for quite some time, and she is a regular participant at domain industry events.

According to a LinkedIn post she shared yesterday, Karen has been appointed as a UDRP panelist at the National Arbitration Forum.

There are just a handful of panelists who I believe have considerable familiarity with domain name investing as a business. From my perspective, the vast majority of panelists gained their expertise more on the complainant side of the table. My feeling is this can make it more challenging for domain investors whose domain names are subject to a UDRP.

I am certain Karen will not tip the scales in favor of a domain investor just because she has familiarity with the business of domain investing. It is nice to see someone who understands this business serving as a UDRP panelist.
