DropCatch Auctions No Longer Close on Weekends

I wrote about the Mine.com auction on DropCatch.com earlier today. One of the things that stood out to me is the five day auction. As far as I have known, auctions on that platform are three days. They are only briefly extended when bids are placed in the final moments.

I reached out to Andrew Reberry, Co-Founder of the company that operates the platform, and he informed me of a change that was recently made. Auctions on DropCatch.com will no longer conclude on Saturdays or Sundays.

Here’s what Andrew told me:

“We’ve adjusted our schedule so DropCatch auctions no longer close on weekends—giving bidders a chance to enjoy their Saturdays and Sundays without the need to hover over a computer.

From now on, each drop auction will run 3 – 5 days and will finish at 1 p.m. Mountain Time on a weekday.”

I like this change and would be happy to see it made universally. It will be nice to not have to check in on auctions on the weekend while I am focused on family priorities.
