Snowy Sunday Domain Business Updates

0

You may have heard that Boston has been seeing a lot of snow. Yes, this is true. There’s snow everywhere. I love the snow, but for the first time I can recall, it has become a massive inconvenience.

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I want to share a few thoughts and updates with you. As always, you are welcome to share thoughts about any of these updates or anything else in the comment section.

Sunday Updates and Thoughts

Another Sunday, another snowstorm. I’ll spare you the details, but it looks like we’re going to get another foot +. Luckily, we have a snow plowing company that clears our driveway. Unfortunately, I am the walkway and stair shoveler. Needless to say, I am sore!

Here are some updates and thoughts on the weekend.

Super Bowl Sunday Thoughts and Updates

It’s Super Bowl Sunday, and I am excited for the big game. The wing sauce has been made, the chili is on the stovetop, and the champagne  is ready to celebrate the Patriots’ victory (or drowning sorrows). I think that  everyone who is  associated with Domaining.com is

If you attended NamesCon, I invite you to share your thoughts about the conference. If you didn’t attend NamesCon and you own domain names, I think you should try to make every effort to attend the conference next year.

My thoughts about NamesCon:

Estimated Taxes Due This Week

If you are a US taxpayer who pays quarterly estimated taxes, don’t forget that the due date is coming up.  There are many domain investors in the US who operate small businesses and need to make  these quarterly payments, so here is your reminder.

The IRS website lists an  exception for not paying fourth quarter estimated taxes: “You do not have to make the payment due January 15,  2015, if you file your 2014 tax return by February 2, 2015,  and pay the entire balance due with your return.”

Technically, the
