Most of the top tier domain name brokers are buttoned up and trustworthy. I would say this is the case for the vast majority of the best brokers. Tessa Holcomb from Igloo.com operates one of the top brokerages and she made a good point on Twitter yesterday:

I am occasionally critical of companies for waiting a long time to file a UDRP proceeding. I am especially critical of companies who file UDRPs on descriptive/generic domain names that are aged. On the other hand, a company recently filed a UDRP on a domain name that was less than 10 days old.

UBSBS.com is now the subject of a UDRP proceeding at the National Arbitration Forum. It is NAF case number 1701732. UBSBS.com was created on October 31, 2016, which is ten days ago. The domain name appears to be registered to someone in Ghana. The domain name was previously registered before, but it appears to have expired in 2012 before being re-registered recently. Interestingly, back in 2010, the domain name was registered to an entity called UBS Business Solution, according to the DomainTools Whois History tool.

When I visited the domain name, I saw that there is a logo that says

I saw a Facebook update from TechCrunch with a video discussing an app called InkHunter. TechCrunch also published an article about the app. In short, InkHunter allows people  to use their  smartphone to see what a tattoo would look like on their  body before getting permanently inked with a  tattoo.

When I first saw  the article, my initial  thought was that this would be the perfect usage of the .Tattoo domain name extension operated by Uniregistry. I clicked on the embedded link within the article, and I saw that it directed people to the iTunes app store to download the app and learn more about the app. Once on the iTunes store, I hovered over the “Kateryna Khotkevych Web SiteInkHunter” link, and I see that the app is using

Mike Berkens privately sold much of his portfolio to GoDaddy earlier this year. I understand he kept most of the adult domain names and his portfolio of new gTLD domain names.

According to this tweet from Frank Schilling, Mike is still making deals happen. Apparently he bought Stock.Photo for $16,000 at the NamesCon auction after already owning Stock.Photos. He then reportedly sold the pair of domain names to Richard Lau for $60,000.
