Asheville Domain Event is Delayed

Earlier this morning, Rick Schwartz announced the Asheville domain investor event he had been planning for this Summer would be delayed indefinitely due to concerns about the Coronavirus:

2020 Nordic Domain Days in September

Nordic Domain Days will be celebrating its fifth anniversary at its 2020 conference which is scheduled for September 7-8, 2020. The event will be held in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2019, the event was held in November, so I believe that means there should be warmer weather expected and more hours of daylight this year.

Rick Schwartz Announces 2020 Asheville Event

Rick Schwartz hosted a domain investor event in Asheville, North Carolina last Summer, and it was well attended. This morning on Twitter, Rick announced he will be hosting the event again this Summer in Asheville:

Dates Set for NamesCon Europe 2020

NamesCon organizers announced the dates of the 2020 NamesCon Europe conference earlier this morning. NamesCon Europe 2020 will be held in the city of Budapest, Hungary from August 6 – 8, 2020. The conference will be held at the Budapest Marriott Hotel, which is on the bank of the Danube River. You can learn more about the conference and see the agenda when it is posted on the NamesCon Europe website.

Will I See You at NamesCon?

NamesCon Global will take place in Austin, Texas in a little over three weeks from today. From what I have read in various places, it would seem like attendance could be down from prior years, but I have also heard the opposite. In fact, NamesCon organizers made more hotel rooms available at surrounding hotels due to the reservation blocks being reserved already.

Now that we are very close to the conference, I thought I would ask readers if they are going to be attending the conference. I will be there, and I am looking forward to making my first trip to Austin.

NamesCon Increases Hotel Availability

Some people have quietly questioned how large the NamesCon turnout will be this year due to the change in location from Las Vegas to Austin, Texas. If hotel bookings are an indication of the number of attendees, it looks like NamesCon will be well-attended. NamesCon organizers had a block of rooms set aside for conference attendees to book, and they secured a second block when the first one sold out. The conference is coming up in less than a month, and apparently, the host Omni Hotel is now at capacity.
