For those who question the merits of the domain sales listed below, the one piece of advice I can give is to list your domain names for sale. People do shop at Afternic and its partners, and if they happen to like your domain name, it could be sold and listed on a future sales report.

BonnieAndClyde.com was the largest sale at $13,000 followed by ParkModelHomes.com for $12,696. The Whois hasn’t changed on either domain name, so the buyers are not yet known.

2

Afternic reported domain name sales of $1,210,767 last week, including both public and private transactions. Leading the way was the $90,000 sales of Constant.com. The updated Whois record shows the owner as David Aninowsky, the CEO of hosting company, Choopa. I don’t know what the plans are for this domain name, but Constant.com would seem like a great term for a hosting company.

Afternic Sales Report: Iron Workers Union Buys IronWorkers.com

In this week’s sales report from Afternic, Ironworkers.com was sold by Tucows for $17,000, in the largest sale of the week. Based on the new Whois information for Ironworkers.com, it appears the domain name was purchased by the Ironworkers Union, which also owns Ironworkers.org. I think it’s a pretty fair price for both parties.

In total, Afternic sold $1,080,850 worth of domain names last week, including both public and private domain sales. On a personal note, I was able to close a deal on CollegeMascots.com via Afternic.com (IREIT is now working with Afternic). The domain name had been owned by Internet REIT and after an unsuccessful negotiation last year, we were able to work out a deal yesterday.
