Tucows Job: Sr. Product Marketing Manager – Domains

I saw a job opportunity posted on LinkedIn that might be of interest to a domain industry professional. Tucows is looking to hire someone for the position of Senior Product Marketing Manager – Domains. The job will be based out of the company’s Toronto, Canada office, although I am unsure if Tucows employees have returned to the office due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Here’s an excerpt from the job listing about the job opportunity:

“As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Wholesale Domains at Tucows you’ll be challenged with diving in and getting up to speed quickly in the domain name industry. Doing so will enable you to develop a forward-thinking product marketing strategy, processes and tactics that are informed by market trends, customer and competitive insights, and key stakeholder input. You will drive the development of the wholesale go-to-market strategy and process, refine our customer profiles and segmentation model and collaborate closely with product management. Armed with this knowledge, you will align with sales leadership to produce the messaging and positioning to recruit new resellers and develop programs for cross-sell/up-sell of our value-added services.”

While this job does not seem to require previous domain industry work experience, one of the skills/experience requests is related to domain name expertise:

“Domain specialist who can assess market and driven intel to inform marketing campaigns and programs”

You can view the job opening on Tucows’ website, or you can visit it via LinkedIn.

The job opening was posted yesterday, and at the time of publication, fewer than 25 applicants have applied for the job via LinkedIn.
