Let’s Meet Up at the Scooper Bowl

If you live in the Boston area, chances are good that you have heard of the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl. If you haven’t, the event is the largest all you can eat ice cream fundraising event, with all funds going to Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund.

This year’s Scooper Bowl will be held June 7 – 9 in City Hall Plaza in Boston. I want to invite you to attend with me on Tuesday, June 7th from 1-3pm. This will be a casual get together for those of you in the area. If you are able to attend, let me know in the comment section or via email so we can arrange a meeting point.

Let me know if you are interested in attending (via email or using the comment section). The cost to attend is $10, but I can share a discount code to save $2.00. At the checkout screen, enter the code DFLC and you will save $2. I feel a bit guilty about offering a coupon code to a charity event, but they encouraged it and you can always make a separate donation to Dana-Farber if you wish!

Even if you can’t make it to the Scooper Bowl when I am there, you should make it a point to get to the event some other time. It’s a fun way to support the Jimmy Fund!
