5,000 Followers on Twitter – Thank You

Twitter 5000

I am excited to see that my @dinvesting Twitter account now has 5,000 followers. I was late to adopt Twitter, but it has become one of my go to places for sharing links and having discussions with people. It has also been a great place to find content for blog posts and to learn about new resources to follow.

I have not done a great job of filtering personal and business content from Twitter. In fact, you’ll probably notice that many of the images I’ve shared are from Fenway Park watching Red Sox games. I find it more interesting when people chat about things other than just business, and I hope you don’t mind that I tend to share non-business related thoughts on my Twitter account. I guess if you do mind, you aren’t obligated to follow my account.

Thank you to @riskcrisisnews who was the 5,000 Twitter follower. If you are an active Twitter user, I welcome you to share your Twitter handle if you’d like others to follow you, too.

  1. Congrats Elliot! I have noticed, however, that many people follow a Twitter user only to pursue a “follow-back” deal. When you don’t follow back, they just unfollow. Also, let’s look at the spam handles that go out following other users. But overall, great work you’ve done there!

  2. Congrats that’s great! i suppose now when people search for ‘Domains’ your new twitter handle will be higher, will help get you the newbie domainers following you..
