Zomato Launches Nugget; Acquires Nugget.com

Last week, James Booth announced that he sold the Nugget.com domain name, which was listed for sale via Atom.com. He was unable to share the sale price due to a non-disclosure agreement, but he speculated it was bought by a casino or something similar.

It turns out, Nugget.com was acquired by Zomato, an India-based food delivery platform. The company already launched its offering, and it forwards Nugget.com to a Zomato subdomain – Nugget.Zomato.com. Nugget

In a post on X today, Deepinder Goyal, CEO of Zomato, shared more about what Nugget is going to become:

Acquiring this exceptional domain name prior to launch was a smart move.

Zomato is no stranger to valuable domain names though. Zomato recently announced that it will rebrand its corporate business as Eternal, using the domain name Eternal.com. In 2022, I reported that Anything.com sold the Eternal.com domain name for an undisclosed amount.
