Whiskey.com Sold for $250k via Sedo

Yesterday on LinkedIn, Sedo’s Frank Tillmanns reported the sale of Whiskey.com without mentioning the purchase price. The domain name had been on the market for quite some time, and the transaction recently closed via Sedo.

This morning, Sedo added the sale of Whiskey.com to its rss sales feed. The sale price of Whiskey.com was $250,000. Because of Whois privacy, the current registrant is not known. The landing page doesn’t give away any information about the buyer.

This is not the first time Whiskey.com sold. According to Namebio, Whiskey.com last sold for $185,000 in 2009. This most recent sale was already added to Namebio, and it will make the DNJournal YTD public domain name sale report. It has been added to the Embrace.com list of recent one word .com domain name sales.

Cheers to all parties on this sale.
