Sedo to Host .AI Auction

.AI domain names have become a popular topic of late. Some of the most popular domain industry auctions these days are the monthly expiry auctions operated by the .AI ccTLD registry.

Sedo just announced it will be hosting its own auction featuring .AI domain names:

Instead of expiry auctions, Sedo will auction .AI domain names owned by private registrants. The auction will be held March 21-28.

Sedo is inviting customers and domain registrants to submit their .AI domain names for consideration to be included in the auction. The company is currently seeking generic terms in the .AI extension with reserve prices “in line with market values.”

I am not sure if I will be a bidder, but I will keep my eye on the auction.
