Screen Shot 2016-07-21 at 5.08.02 PMIf you live in near Vancouver, British Columbia, there’s a domain industry event you may want to attend. According to an email I received this afternoon, “NamesCon is teaming up with HEXONET, a leading domain registrar, to take guests on a sunset boat cruise just off the coast of beautiful Vancouver, BC.” It looks like it is going to be a fun night!

The free event is scheduled for August 18th from 6-9pm. To attend, you must RSVP in advance to the event organizers. Here’s what the event website says about the cruise:

“On August 18th, HEXONET and NamesCon are teaming up to take you on a sunset boat cruise just off the coast of beautiful Vancouver, BC. Attendees will be treated to a brief panel discussion, followed by a unique evening of networking in a fun and relaxed environment.

Surrounded by panoramic views of the city skyline and the Coastal mountains, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and connect with other domain industry players, while enjoying a selection of light snacks and refreshments.

Harbour Cruises is located at 501 Denman Street in Downtown Vancouver. Upon arrival, proceed down the ramp to the MV Harbour Princess. Pay parking is available in the parking lot on Denman St, between Georgia St and the seawall.

Please be prompt! Boarding begins at 6:00pm, and we set sail from 6:30-9:30pm.

RSVP — LIMITED SEATS!”
