NameJet Reports Over $800k in Sales in January

NameJet reported its January sales numbers, and the company seems to have had a strong month. Only considering sales above $2,000, the company closed $836,000 in sales. With all of the other unreported sales, NameJet likely closed well into the 7 figures.

In January of 2012, the company reported just under $275,000 in sales above $2,000, so this is a marked improvement. It seems that most of the top sales this January were privately held domain names.

There were 5 sales last month of $50,000 or greater. LIU.com was the largest sale at $155,688. The domain name is currently parked at DomainNameSales, although I don’t know if the buyer kept the domain name parked or simply hasn’t changed the DNS yet. The Whois information remains private.
