How Would You Spend $50,000 USD?

There’s no doubt great .AI domain names are selling for big money on the aftermarket. This has been the case with great .com domain names for many years, but .AI domain names have really proven themselves to be in demand this year.

For the last 10 years or so, it has been difficult (primarily time consuming) but possible to buy a good one word .com domain name for $50,000 USD. It has gotten much more difficult in the last few years, but it has been generally possible. Lately, not so much.

Likewise, it has been possible to buy exceptional one word .AI domain names with a budget of $50,000 give or take. Lately, that has become more difficult, but there are still deals to be had in auctions and through negotiations.

If you had $50,000 to spend today on a single domain name investment, would you try to buy a decent to good one word .com domain name or an exceptional one word .AI domain name? I posted this as a poll on X, so feel free to add commentary here or there.

Sounds like it mirrors the rate of change associated with our national debt.

People are becoming more attracted to limited supply asset classes similar to Bitcoin, etc. as opposed to our fiat money supply?
