Hosting Change

I will be changing hosting providers within the next 12 hours. I apologize in advance if any comments you make are missing between now and the hosting change. I don’t anticipate that there will be any issues, but I want to give you a head’s up in advance.

Thanks for understanding!

  1. I’ve noticed more people complaining about Liquidweb’s customer service and uptime lately. I have a few sites hosted with them but fortunately I haven’t experienced any issues.

Godaddy is really pushing their new “Get A Website” and 4GH hosting services. I’m surprised it took them so long to focus on keeping their domain customers from using other hosting companies.

  2. @ Elliot

FYI, I see the two posts.

Are you using the “Ultimate 4GH” plan?

If so, I’m impressed it can handle your blog traffic. I thought you would need to continue with at least a VPS or dedicated server given the amount of pages the site has.

  3. Don’t want to sound too negative but hosting with Godaddy’s 4GH plan is not a smart choice. IMO any decent VPS plan would of been a much smarter decision, heck my toaster oven can probably do a better job at it.
